VW Podcasts Rock Out

I’m rather lazy when it comes to consuming news and other cool stuff. I’m not interested in digging through forums or magazines, and I have a rather short attention span when I’m forced to. So when one of the fellas in my office clued me into the VW podcasts, I was thrilled.

For those of you who are unaware; podcasting is the distribution of audio or video files, such as radio programs or music videos, over the Internet using either RSS or Atom syndication for listening on mobile devices and personal computers (thanks Wikipedia). In other words, it’s TiVo for your Mac (uh…sorry, PC).

Where can you get these fine podcasts? One of the most popular methods is through iTunes. All you need to do is:

- Download iTunes.

- Open it and click the “Podcasts” button.

- Hit the “Podcast Directory” button in the lower left hand corner.

- Enter “Volkswagen” in the search field in the upper right.

- Choose a podcast. Click on any of the results to get more information.

- Click the “subscribe” button.

From there, podcasts are downloaded to your computer each time a new one is released. Just click the “Podcasts” button to view them. You can unsubscribe whenever you like.

I haven’t been able to digest any yet, but I’ll post as soon as I do :D
