I just traded in my 2001 Nissan Maxima for it. The TDI Beetle I have is Gecko Green with Package 2; and only had 5800 miles on it. Again, I've only had it a week and put about 300 miles on it; but no problems at all. It's small... but so far a great car. I'm not sure what the true MPG will be; but it has to fair better than the Nissan. The best I ever saw was 24 MPG; recently it's been 20-21 MPG running premium unleaded.
