Hope for the GX3 is Fading

Looks like the “trike” is too “car-like”.
New Car Search reports that VW lawyers are balking at liability issues with the GX3 and putting heat on the powers that be to kill the groovy little guy. I still have hope for him, as I think Volkswagen’s cajones are growing bigger by the day (or maybe I should say bigger by the commercial?).
Who knows? Mayhaps we’ll still see it in showrooms next year.

Dood, c’mon! Ugh, lawyers and people who sue over stupid stuff: two things we could do without.
I’ll be honest - I’m doubtful that it was entirely related to “safety” or “liability” issues. The fact of the matter is, you can get a car for what this thing was supposedly going to sell for (15-17k if memory serves).
My guess is, theyre nix’ing it before the investment in production expenses bites them in the face, like the Phaeton.
