I just called White Allen Service to see if they could look at my 2007 Passat 4Motion 3.6l Wagon’s head light bulb. I have HID’s and was told it is covered under warranty. So they then told me it would be next week (today is a Wed) before they could look at it, and they need it all day. I say for a head light bulb? and the service writer gets very rude and nasty with me. I told him, “that’s ok I will find another dealer.” How rude! Do not go there, they do not treat everyone the same. I paid $42K for may wagon, I am thinking I made a bad choice. They lost more then a little warranty work, I was going to buy a new Jetta TDI there, guess I need to find another dealer.

Hey Vinay. Sure thing, check out my original post on the 40k service. It has the list of items to be completed for a 2003 GTI VR6 24v. There are some DIY tidbits in there as well. Your list may vary slightly if you have a different model. In that case, you can look up any of the maintenance interval lists on Volkswagen's website. Check that out here.

Do you have that checklist of items for 40K service? I wanna get it done from a local mechanic and want to make sure he is in accord with vw guidelines.

Not to keep pluggin White Allen, but I too have had nothing but good things about this dealership. I leased by 2005 Jetta 2.5, I walked in totally unannounced, picked out my Jetta and was out in 2 hours! Let’s just say I was a happy camper giving my new 2.5 a work out on the drive back to Cincy!
