Crash Your Jetta

Fun mini site for the Jetta, based off the “Safe Happens” campaign.

Hit VW’s homepage and you’ll see a banner for their latest addition to the Jetta ads, “Crash Your Jetta”. The site puts a fun spin on the whole “build your own car” feature, allowing you to choose the interior & exterior colors as well as all the bells & whistles. Then you get to watch your pretty new Jetta get wrecked by various forces on the testing room floor! You’ll see it from all angles as giant lizards and rhinos pound your poor little Jetta into submission.

It’s a fun site, worth the time to check it out. My only complaint is the unnecessarily loud sound effects for all the button rollovers. They seem to have a new tendency toward this, but I can deal.

  3. hahahaha At the moment, I want Crash Your GTI too. Stupid check engine light cel came on last Fri. Just after getting my 40k done. Well, we’ll find out what’s up this Sat.

  4. I’ve never seen the check engine light in my TDI, go figure ;)

  5. Well, as of yesterday it went out so I called off my visit to the dealer. Tekmassa has a vag-com and he’ll be in town soon, so we’ll just scan it then and see what’s up.

  6. My wish came true :(

Your ride held up pretty well considering the kid was going 30-40mph. Still though…that hurts.
