The Versatility of the GTI Guy

It’s always fun to see a loved actor in other roles.
So I watched Constantine last night for the first time (ya know, the flick where Keanu Reeves travels between our world and hell to fight demons…kinda like the Matrix with a religious undertone), and was pleasantly surprised when the Devil himself makes an appearance – casted by none other than Peter Stormare, a.k.a. the GTI guy. In this role he’s also clad in white, but really creepy and evil (he plays the role really well). The film overall is okay, but it’s worth the few minutes at the end where our new favorite VW icon makes his appearance. He’s becoming one of my favorite actors.
Some other roles of note:
- The Brothers Grimm (2005) … Cavaldi
- Minority Report (2002)… Dr. Solomon Eddie
- Armageddon (1998)… Lev Andropov, Russian Cosmonaut
- The Big Lebowski (1998)… Nihilist #1, Uli Kunkel/’Karl Hungus’
- Seinfeld (1998)…The Frogger Episode… Slippery Pete
He’ll also be in Nacho Libre this summer with Jack Black. I’ll be checking it out.
