To All,

I did a test drive on a manual shift rabbit, i don’t know if it’s me or my driving an SE-R for 14 years but the rabbit seems to drive a lot higher than i anticitpated in the drivers seat.

Awesome Jason. We heard that a couple dealers local to Mrad and me have a few Rabbits as well, but we haven’t gotten out to check them out. Yet. :D

I’m with you, I was REALLY not liking the new MkV GTI, but it has grown on me. What I like about the new Rabbit, at least from photos, is that though it is more of a base model, it just doesn’t have that “look” of a base model, you know what I mean? They look very nice and upscale.

Recently saw a rabbit in person at my local v-dub dealer. At first, I thought it was a gti, but after realizing that it had another pair of doors, it was indeed a rabbit! I didn’t think they’d be out until the fall.

Before I had my passat, I enjoyed a golf for 3 fine years. I’m not sure I dig the new look yet. It looks fine the gti, but add another set of doors and it loses something. Maybe it’ll grow on me in the next 2 years, when my passat goes off lease…
