I'm kickin' myself for not holding out for a TDI. I've never heard any complaint from a Beetle owner, let alone one with a diesel. I heart my niche market buggy. I once saw this totally thugged out dude, with cornrows, a little bling, smoking, rollin in a red Nube with the total gangsta lean on the seat with one hand on the wheel. He definitely didn't fit the target market for the car, but there was some serious comedic value there. Well… it’s definitely not a dude car, that’s for sure. I heart my niche market buggy.
