The current Polo is slightly subpar in the safety department by American standards, and originally VW said they wouldn&#8217;t bring it over due to the increase in production costs a safety upgrade would bring. This has urked some folks a little. However, if they move quickly, they could take some market share from the Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris (certainly the new model would compete with them from a price standpoint). Not to mention all those treehuggers folks that would love to score a hybrid but can&#8217;t fit the bill. [...]</description>

		<description>I think the TDI Polo gets in the area of 65mpg, the Lupo TDI is in the 90&#039;s. VWoA are jerks for not importing these awesome cars.</description>
