VW Rabbit Wardriving Commercial

Interesting commercial with two guys in a Rabbit looking for a WiFi signal for a MacBook.

Check it out. I will take this opportunity to say that the scrubbing (moving the playhead back and forth) ability of YouTube’s player absolutely sucks.

God, will VW start pushing a color other than white? I love the inclusion of the macbook, but wanna hit the guy for putting freakin’ stickers on it!

  1. Sweet commercial, that Rabbit looks a little tricked out with some ground effects or something.

That’s probably an old stickered up Powerbook.

  2. Man, that thing does look good. I would venture to say… better than a GTI… there ya go, I said it. Mrad, if you get your Rabbit, that could be you and me skirtin’ around Cincy looking for a spot. hahah

Yeah, if you pay close enough attention to the Rabbit commercials they all have the ground effects kit. They say “starting at $14,990″, but the model shown is like $18, 390.

And good catch Justin - that is a PowerBook. Dax and I where able to catch it and notice the absence of an isight at the top. It’s still sacrilege to put stickers on something sooo beautiful.

  4. I disagree with Dizzle’s remark… GOOOOO GTI ;)

I will say this though: I’m glad they didnt put the goofy silver band across the grill as they did on the Jetta 2.5…. *BARF*

Also, the probably put stickers on the laptop so they wouldnt have to pay Apple for use of their logo (just a guess).

  5. Hahaha I knew you would have to chime in Timmau with your lil’ Red. :D Just wait till you get your kit on there. Hotness.

Although I’d be happy with either Rabbit or GTI, I would have to go with the bigger engine if I had the choice. Of course, there’s either the MkIV R32, or the new one coming soon. Muahahhahaha
