A Volksbloggin reader dropped me a line recently about a very cool site that he runs where users show off their “virtual tuning” skills.
MonsterMonster.co.uk showcases what Kieran, the site’s creator, calls “virtual tuning.” Users download high resolution photos of stock vehicles, “tune” them in their favorite image editing program, then upload the before/after results for all to see and review. Monthly competitions are held, and there’s even a Hall of Fame.
There are some seriously talented people out there. It’s extremely difficult to tell that the finished photo is actually a “photochop” in most cases. Here are a few Volkswagen examples:

imo, the only one that’s half-way decent is the mod’d polo (wannabe r32). why do people equate coolness with absurdly lowered cars??!
Hahahahah yeah, some of them aren’t in good taste, but great skills none-the-less. :) I like the OEM+ style, or the very subtle, clean look. I can’t stand the uber body kits, wings, extreme lowering, graphics and wild paint jobs.
Thanks for the blog guys! :)
I’ve added a couple more vw’s to the site :)
