Herbie didn’t excuse himself. The 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, of movie fame, spit water and let out gaseous noises when his hood closed. And visitors to the 11th annual Bi-State VW Club’s annual car show and picnic Sunday afternoon seemed to like it. Via qctimes.com
