  1. Hasn’t 4Motion been available on Passats in the States for a while now, even the wagon model?

I believe it has been available, but the price of the fully loaded wagon model has slowly crept up, especially with the newest. That price is a bit too close to BMW and Audi, but when I think about what you’re getting: fully loaded Passat versus meagerly appointed Beemer or Audi, it helps sway me. :)

  3. At $33,100, it’s not too bad for a 3.6L 4Motion Wagon Passat, though I’d rather have a 3.2L 4Motion Golf for a much lower price ;)

Dood, you and me both. :D I have been eyeing some R32’s, actually only about one listed in our area right now. Wish I could throw down for it. I love the things. Maybe I can work a deal and come out ahead. hahaha

  5. Speaking of all wheel drive golfs, I could get along just fine with a non-suped up version. I’ve got a 4motion 1.8T passat now, and I think the engine/drive train would be plenty zippy enough under the smaller golf/rabbit body.

The new rabbit base engine (I think its 150hp) would probably be peppy enough too, but I’ve become a turbo addict… Gotta say though that foot’n the bill for super gas ($3.25/gallon in upstate ny) is getting be drag though…
