Garage Bands Are Back… If You’re a V-Dub Owner

I know this is late in coming to Volksbloggin (sorry, we’re still fighting with our work schedules), but what another novel idea from our favorite German company. Garage band junkies rejoice, you’re entire setup is now built right into your V-dub.
Volkswagen has teamed up with First Act Inc. to provide buyers of 2007 models from October 3 through December 31 with their very own Garage Master guitar. This isn’t a cheapo either. The setup, fully integrated into the car stereo system, comes with the guitar, a pair of VW branded picks, cable, strap and guitar case.
Some other nice touches: the picks will be color coordinated to the car color, the vin number is displayed on the guitar, the knobs sport the VW logo, the strap is made of seatbelt material, and a blue indicator light that matches the beloved blue glow of the interior lights.

That’s kinda weird, I’ve got to wonder if people will really be into that. Cool that its sportin’ the “vee dub in da house” gansta sign on the neck.

(I ordered an 07 GTI a week or so back, so hopefully it will arrive before the deal expires.)
