Nice job Joel, I’d like to score a Rabbit for that price with the options you got for my wife. :] Too bad her lease isn’t up on her MkIV Jetta for another couple years.

Got mine for under or around invoice. 16,700 with the upgraded wheels and tires, for a 2 door base model. Not bad.

I got mine for under dealer invoice. So there is play in the price. I bought mine at a dealership 200+ miles from my house and set the deal up over the phone. Maybe you should get a clue and not pay full sticker, or more, for an economy car.

True, there is absolutely no play in the price of the Rabbit.

My conern is that the dealers make so little (if anything) on the Rabbit that they won’t make any attempt to keep them in stock, so the purchases will be made mostly by ‘dub loyalists. The chances of hooking new folks to the line with this car are slim (especially if they have to wait 60 days for one).
