It’s been out there for a tick, but I thought we needed it here anyway.
Here ya go:
I love the usage of the black magic GTIs and Rabbits. But seeing this, it’s really starting to make me wonder how many guitars and cars VW thinks they’re gonna sell off this. I mean really, how many folks jam out of their car? If you do, or know someone who does, please share. I’d love to hear about it.

At the park near my house I always see these dudes playing drums. One guy has a drum kit, and I mean full drum kit, and the other guy has a full on percussion setup. They just setup in the evening right next to their cars and practice, maybe they need a guitarist?
I plan on giving the guitar I’ll get with my new GTI away as a Christmas present to someone in my family that can actually play the thing.
But no. I haven’t seen or heard of anyone doing this.
That’s pretty swell of you Patrick - let us know what it’s like. I’m curious about the quality of the guitars.
Who’s the other guy in the commercials? The guy wearing the Kilt?
That’s Nigel from Spinal Tap. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend you do. Those commercials will make more sense AND you might even start getting some of your friends’ vague movie references as well…
i think their point is that your getting a free guitar (for those musicians out there) and you can plug in music (ex. i pod, Laptop, mp3 gismos) into your car.. you don’t necessarily have to play your guitar in your car..
