When the wheels get big enough, that’s the only place they can put them. This is where you’d find the spare on Syncro Vanagons and Eurovans that sported 16″ rims (compared to the normal 15″).
Cool ad, I thought the entire photo was the ad. It wasn’t until I clicked through to the original source that I realized the actual ad was attached to the back of a ski-lift.
