*Insert Tim Allen man-grunt here* We came across the 5th Gear episode on YouTube where the Touareg tows the 747. Check it out after the jump.

That’s cool, but I can’t help but wonder how the Touareg compares to the aircraft tow tractors that do the job in reality.
The Eagle TT-12 AWD tractor, for instance, weighs more than 13,500 pounds and is rated to pull 180,000 pounds in first gear (120,000 in third). And that’s with a 3.1 liter, 83 horsepower 4-cylinder engine!
nice find. i had the flash file from VW but it was jackin my WP.. gotta love 5th Gear!
That’s just freakin’ cool.
Duude…..that is freakin’ cool! I gotta get me one of those.
Dude…wtf?! That’s incredible!
After consulting some airplane buffs and the Boeing website, it seems there has never been a 747 with the 2 engines mounted on a single pod! Where did they get this one, or is it digitally altered and if so why?
Wow, good research digging there Gerald. I’m definitely not a aircraft buff, so I’m not sure about that. If they did doctor it, boo on them. :]
whith a simple search on google images i found more than one picture of a Boeing 747 whit two engines mounted on a single pod.so they don’t “doctor it”
