I bought a diesel Rabbit in 1993 with 186,000 on it. Too bad the odometer quit shortly thereafter, because that car has been passed around the family and is still running on the original engine on my uncle's farm. I'm absolutely certain that it's got over 500,000 on it at this point, but couldn't prove it.
