Volkswagen intends to reintroduce its Phaeton luxury sedan to the U.S. market, according to VW of America spokesman Andreas Meurer. Mr. Meurer made the announcement during an interview with Bloomberg. Via leftlanenews.com

  1. Bring back the Phaeton with more of the Bentley flavor.
    Offer the W12 engine in the Twin Turbo 600HP Continental GT version!Possible AMG, Brabas, or Lambo V10 version.
    Multiple, switchable computer chips for multiple vehicle operating modes such as (economy/performance/towing etc.)
    Offer a Connelly leather option.
    Offer a performance-enhanced suspension, brakes, wheels & tires, steering, shocks, etc. Control Body roll better. Better turning radius.
    Offer custom tuner/coachworks studio to personalize the vehicle.
    Offer a hardtop convertible version.

  2. I am currently a 2006 VW Phaeton owner and would love to see a retractable hard top convertible made out of the Phaeton. Sign me up!!!!!! put me 1st in line. Can’t wait.
