Golf Estate Appears on VW UK

The famed Golf Estate has appeared on VW UK’s site as a “forthcoming model”, and offers some detail about the ride.

What I found most interesting is this:
“A choice of 3 engines including a 1.6 105 PS petrol engine, or 2 diesel engines; 1.9 TDI 105PS or 2.0 TDI 140PS will be available on the new Golf Estate. Diesel engines will be available with a choice of six-speed manual or DSG gearboxes.”
DSG in a wagon? Hmmm. I’m a shade surprised. I’m still unimpressed with the design, but I’ll reserve judgment until she appears stateside. The UK site doesn’t offer much, but you can check it out here.
