Guy wheels it out to my car- looks at my 2003 GTI and says, I don't think it will fit. 46" Sony TV, fully enclosed in the box... I looked at him and said, "Watch". Going from the golf to a passat, I really did miss the hatch. Looking to forward to going back to a rabbit when the passat lease is up. Its nice to see that the '08's are up to 170hhp, same as my '04 passat 1.8T.
