So glad I found this information. I have owned my 2006 Rabbit for 2 months and have had 4 lights die on me! This is unacceptable in my view, esp. since they cost a lot of money to replace. I live on a dirt road -full of potholes- in an area with cold winters..... guess I am doomed!

Help!!!!!
My driver side brake light is getting burnt out repeatedly. It goes out with in 2 - 3 days after I put it in... Any ideas ?
Similarly the Head light too, It goes dim with in days after I install a new sylvania bulb. Is this a weird coincidence or any underlying issue I should know ? Thanks

I just had my first blow in 5yrs. 2003 20th anniversary GTI, and got the replacement info from this site. I'm going to be careful as well. I didn't know bumps/pot holes could cause them to blow. I hate daytime lights, just gives you more of a chance of blowing one.
