With 3.61 million vehicles sold worldwide between January and July 2007, the Volkswagen Group has set a new record for this delivery period. The increase in sales compared to last year was 8.1 percent. In July, 522,000 vehicles delivered was an increase of 10.2 percent, which was a record for the seventh month of the year.
