Okay, a bit harsh.  But I guess it depends on the size of the thing. If this drawing is the size of a mini-van, then no. But if VW wants to get into the low-powered (under 100HP), and compete in the &quot;sub-compact compact&quot; market (Scion), then VW could have a fighting chance - might not be strong, but a decent chance, unless they bring over the Polo.  However, I feel that Rabbit is enough competition for Scion as it is now.

Now, last I heard, VW was working with Chrysler to build a new mini-van for VW, based on the new 2008 Town &amp; Country.   So, we&#039;ll see what happens.
