Bleh. Looks like someone punched the Beetle in the mouf. Let’s hope these “concepts” never see the light of day.

Highly doubt it. When the car show was in town last year, a guy from corporate said that the Beetle was headed for hibernation by the end of 2010 or so - I don’t recall the year, so don’t quote me, plus it’s just hear-say.
Good call Matthew. I remember hearing that or something similar as well this past year, but don’t recall the details. As much as corporate changes their ideas, who knows what they’ll do with it. :D
