Happy Birthday Volksbloggin!!!

Two years ago we released the happy little infant Volksbloggin into the wild. While it still had saliva trickling down its chin, we started with our first post (which was actually written a month before we went live) about the “Wide-Hip Syndrome in Automotive Design“. Since then we’ve cranked out over 800 posts and had 167,000 unique visitors, served up 429,000 page views, been featured on many CSS galleries and even made it into the 9rules network.

So with the birthday looming, our faithful leader Dan rolled up his sleeves and cranked out this fantastic redesign. He has spent many tireless hours to make this day so much more special. We all owe Dan a big tip of the cap for all his work. Great job Dizzle!!!

We’re also incredibly stoked to introduce two brand spankin’ new writers to the team: Justin Perkins and Ben Guild. Welcome guys! We’re very excited to have you on board.

But finally we want to thank you, loyal VB readers! Without you none of this would be possible. We really hope to attract even more readers and really make VB a humble little community for all VW heads. And if you ever have any suggestions on how to make Volksbloggin better, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
