Hey all, I’m sure some of you have heard about the wind storm that rolled through Cincinnati and the rest of Ohio on last Sunday, leaving over 90% of Cincinnati without power. They say the winds actually reached category 1 hurricane force. Wow! o.0
My power just came back on this morning at 5:10am, being out since 2:45pm last Sunday. Wow, what an experience. Thankfully a grocery store nearby got power back relatively quickly. There wasn’t too much damage to our home or our precious veedubs. Just some branches broken off and a couple shingles out of place. Our neighborhood has a lot of downed limbs and small tress, broken fences, etc.
But we’re doing ok regardless! I hope that any of our readers out there in Cincinnati or Ohio are doing ok as well. Let us know if you’ve experienced the storm and how things are going so far.

Yea my power is just now coming back on… its been crazy not having power… it came back on yesterday but it turned right back off… but hopefully its on to stay
I’m living in Houston right now where we just got clobbered by Ike.
I didn’t have power from 8pm friday until 2pm monday. There are still many people around here without power.
Hey Jay Jay, hopefully it’ll stay on for ya. Ours has been ok so far.
Ginger, I hope you and your family/friends are safe so far, and that the local resources are taking care of business there for you.
