I just put had new valve put in and replaced the waterpump. When I started the car it started reving up and down and the catalyst converter got cherry red. What could be the cause of that? After a minute or so, it went away. I then let the engine cool down for 3 hrs., then i tried starting it again. The car reved up and down and the catalyst converter got hot again.
